I agree that I am 18+: Indeed I am!

B O D Y;  physical looks, traits, style of dress.
A small lad with a mop of blond hair and a straight nose. He has a rather elfin appearance with a pointed chin, but there's no elfin blood in the family bloodline. He recently lost his first tooth and is rather excited about that fact.

He can mostly be seen wearing something blue, which is his favourite colour.

M I N D;  psyche, personality, general mentality.
Martel is extremely rambunctious and enjoys riding whenever he can, prior to coming to the city he would accompany his mother on her daily rounds of the Argall lands. Martel also enjoys making up stories and asking lots of questions. He has lots of energy and talks fast.On the downside Martel can be very inattentive and he gets bored easily. He also blurts out the first thing he thinks with no thought to its appropriateness or lack thereof.

S K I L L S;  talents, powers, magics.
A fine horse ponyman, Martel could ride almost before he could walk and has the makings of great ostler one day. Martel's talent for story telling could also stand him well as a bard if times get really tough.

H I S T O R Y; times that made them, that broke them.
The youngest child in of the family Argall, Martel has four older sisters and two older brothers. His mothers run the estate and the vast agricultural holdings of the Argall family while his father spends most of his time in the library reading and making sure that any visiting families are well hosted. Unfortunately as of late the fortunes of the Argall's have have hit a rough patch and there's not many visitors to the estate these days. Martel came as a surprise to his parents, born in 692, his closet sibling being some 12 years older than him. Because of the large age gap, Martel's three eldest sisters were all ready running their own portions of the Argall lands by the time he was born. He has not spent much time with his two elder brothers, the eldest being a healer and the youngest being in training as a priest. His fourth eldest sister, Ailish has just been given in bethrothal to Aillia Voss.

Unfortunately, Martel was born at a time when the Argall family fortunes were starting to go downhill, fortunately as an imagative child Martel has always been able to entertain himself, plus he is lucky enough to have a pony of his own (who he calls Hoofs) and makes sure to ride him every day, at least until his family went to the city for Ailish's wedding.

S A M P L E; taste test of your character.
Martel has never been to the city before although he's heard about it for as long as he can remember and not always good things.

Like all Argall's Martel is most at home in the country, but he also loves new sights and sounds, so as the Voss carriage (nothing like the Argall's one with the rickety wheel that still needs fixing) arrives he moves to window to peer out at the imposing buildings and the crowds of people that walk up and down the streets. There's all sorts of strange things going on, or at least strange to Martel, like people exchanging coins for fruit, obviously they don't grow their own! And there's hardly any trees at all, and instead of grass, there's cobblestones under hoof! But the clip-clopping sound is rather fun in a way.

As strange as it is here, Martel wouldn't want to be anywhere else! After more than a month he'll be seeing his favourite sister soon! He can't wait, he has all sorts of things to tell her, like the fairies he are sure have moved into a tree near the edge of the Argall lands.

He continues to peer out the window and uses the opportunity that presents itself in the form of signs to practice his reading and find out more about the city. There's a tavern, and an apothecary and even a bathing house!

One particular sign catches his attention and he frowns wondering what it means before turning to his father. "Papa, what's a brothel?"
